RBS Near Shore Centre Bulgaria
CSC Bulgaria, an essential near-shore delivery center for CSC, currently employs more than 500 IT professionals. Our current focus, in close collaboration with one of our main global customers – Royal Bank of Scotland, is to develop CENTER OF EXCELLENCE for SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT in Bulgaria.
The dedicated software development teams, /in Sofia and Varna/, will work in dynamic, but also supportive multinational environment, to deliver critical technology programs. The project's work will involve systems and functions for the capital markets business, including applications supporting risk functions, as well as front office and core trade processing applications for securities and derivatives products. The Bulgarian team is currently organised around six areas that are currently building their teams in the region. Each of these internal departments is currently developing a number of applications across many traditional technologies, including Java, C++, C#. In the following months some teams will also include newer technologies in their work process such as Hadoop, Scala and Spark. Teams are composed of developers, support and testing resources.
Every team uses a number of applications utilised for calculations, aggregation, reporting or data storage for their specific units. Furthermore, each team works globally in coordination with London and India RBS staff as well as locally along other Bulgaria-based teams.
