 The Business Operations Specialist in Shared Services Center supports the GFD (Global Field Delivery) organization to meet its KPIs (incl. but not limited to Customer Satisfaction, Delivery Mix, Onsite, E2E) by providing advanced reports, data analysis and by participating in improvement initiatives. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

  • Generates, maintains and distributes reports, scorecards, KPIs, etc. in different formats e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.
  • Provides analysis of operations’ trends and generates advanced root cause analysis in case of performance not meeting the targets
  • Supports quality improvement projects aiming at improving operational excellence and cost efficiency
  • Designs and develops advanced reporting, analytical solutions and tools based on Excel, MS SharePoint etc.
  • Gives recommendations based on analyzed data and subject matter expertize in GFD processes and tools on how to progress, optimize or evolve internal business processes
  • Collaborates closely with business process owners/ leads/ managers on WW, GEO, country level, etc. to define business requirements for reporting, analysis and propose actions and/or process improvement ideas/initiatives
  • Employs very good technical knowledge in database design to optimize and automate reporting and analysis
  • Provides advanced data quality control
  • Supports process standardization and documentation
  • Maintains and facilitates an Operational Excellence Framework of respective country/geography
  • Provides SME support to ad-hoc requests coming from country, GEO, WW level with regards to tools, process, reporting, analytics

 Requirements: 

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • At least 1,5 years in support role or in similar roles/businesses
  • Experience in operational excellence and customer satisfaction analysis is a plus
  • Participating in improvement projects or leading optimization initiatives
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and German
  • Second foreign language is an advantage
  • Detail oriented person – ability to check the accuracy of large amounts of data
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities – multi-tasking
  • Excellent organization skills and experience to work with tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills

  • SQL programming skills is an advantage
  • ITIL v3 Foundations is an advantage
